Landscapes and Nature in Oregon & Washington
The Pacific Northwest contains some of America’s most dramatic landscapes. From the sea stack studded coasts of Oregon to the lush rainforests of the Olympic Mountains western slopes and snow capped peaks of the Cascade mountains Volcanoes, the nature photographer never tires of the endless photo opportunities there.
We will spend the best photo times around sunset and sunrise in the field and travel during the day. On the road we will take pictures whenever an opportunity presents itself. Highlights on this trip include the agricultural landscapes of the Palouse, the lakes and mountains of Central Oregon, the Painted Hills, Crater Lake and much more.
We usually go out before sunrise and come back to the hotel for breakfast before departing. You have to be reasonably fit and able to walk up to two miles over uneven ground for some of the locations.
Christian and Regula Heeb are photographers based in Bend Oregon since 1996.
