Canada’s wonderland of remote villages, icebergs, fjords and rugged seascapes
The rugged island of Newfoundland on the far eastern coast of Canada is a landscape and nature photographer’s dream. Between the still woodlands with placid lakes to the rugged rocky coastlines, there are an abundance of photo opportunities. We’ll also be photographing cliffs, lighthouses, waterfalls, moose, glacial fjords, and picturesque fishing villages. With all the abundant bird life, spouting whales, and icebergs traveling down from the arctic, summer is a great time to visit. The people are friendly and welcoming, and long summer days make for some great photographic opportunities.
Join us for a trip across this remote and stunningly beautiful island.
Our small group of photographers is lead by Christian and Regula Heeb who know the island from several visits. Christian is a professional photographer with over 200 published books. His work appears in magazines worldwide.
