Whales, cacti and desert landscapes on the Gulf of California
Baja California, the Mexican Peninsula south of San Diego, is a nature lover’s paradise. In addition to the grandiose, cactus-populated desert landscapes, it is the whales calving here in the lagoons of the Pacific coast that attract nature lovers. There is no better place on earth to watch whales and their young than here.
Since we have owned a house in the south of the peninsula for 18 years and spend the winter there, we were asked by friends to organize a photo tour.
I recently wrote an article for the German Naturfoto Magazin. BLOG There I describe the photo opportunities on the Baja Peninsula. (You can switch the language on the bottom of that page. The translation might not always be perfect.)
